Keep an eye on where lungfish are when picking dead leaves out of fish tank.. they bite little fingers and don't like to let go.
I was picking some of the dead leaves out of my viv, and didn't see the lungfish directly under where I was working (he looks like a log!) and he grabbed my finger and didn't let go until I had my hand almost out of the tank (1.5 above the water) I did not realize what kind of teeth those guys had... ouch.

yup, only a little scratch though, but it still stung quite a bit afterwards.

Yes, the lesson I learned is... Don't mess with a lungfishes interior decorating.

Or just put some gloves on. Or use some tongs instead.

you can blame the lungfish that mistaken your fingers as food.. They have poor eyesight
