Today was a GREAT day for me!! Going back tomorrow and Friday to catch some more hopefully. Was just catching them from the shore with a regular fish net...

Ended up with 11 today. Had 12 but it wasn't looking to good when I caught it, and it eventually died. There were tons of baby buffalo, gar, and sunfish too, but I was focused on the bows!!!

Biggest are around 5", the smallest are barely 3". Them so cute!!! ha

lucky 1 fish i always wanted but could never come across. there is 1 lake i know of that is suppose to be stocked around here. Perhaps i will check it out.

The locals here call them Grinnel, Mudfish, black Trout...lol. Pretty much everything but BowFin. I mention bowfin and they give me blank stares.
