Nothing But Live Food

Are there any monster fish that has to or will only eat live food?

As far as I know, and I don't know much, every fish CAN be trained to eat dead or prepared foods. Some just need a lot more work then others.

There have been two fish that I've never been able to wean off of live food: my fire eel and an Amazon leaf fish I had.

I tried South American leaf fish a couple of times, and was never able to get them to eat anything other than live small fish.

Most things can be weaned. Candiru need a live host. Seahorses need live mysis. Other than that, it should be able to be weaned.

Ambush preds and tiger rays seem to be the hardest to break IMO....
