Seems like some white fungus of some sort. Fish seem healthy. I need to purchase a new test kit asap to check water conditions. Fish eating great and keeping up with my 30-40% water changes every 3 days. Does anyone know what it is and is it harmful.......i also have a planaria outbreak so im cutting back on feeding raising temp and adding salt with every water change. I tried to zoom in with my cell camera

Planaria, is usually a sign of bad water quality, keep up on the water changes and they should go away and clean out your filter too, as for the fungus, i had some too and i dont think its harmful, i saw my pleco chewing on it before, but i took the driftwood out scrubbed it with a brush and boiled it, never saw it again also get a test kit ASAP(the API Master liquid test kit, has the best most accurate results) one of the most important things to us hobbyists!!!

Usually have the test strips but ran out of them and I hear the strips aren't that accurate so I will try another type of test. Will scrub driftwood tomorrow

Alright i hope that whites stuff disappears, heres a link to the test kit that i and mostly everybody in this hobby use i got it on amazon, you can get them in pet store but they usually cost $20-$30 bucks depending on were you go, i would buy online cause it cheaper and everyone like that! :D

look at it this way $15 now will save that $60 fish in the future!
