I only know of 3 lfs and the dozens of petcos and petmarts that are in the area. Please post all the lfs that are in our area that you know of. I'll start...
1. Cordis Fish & Supply - Where I buy 90% of my fish and supplies b/c the owner, Evelyn, is extremely nice and helpful.
2. Creatures & Critters - Store across from Potomac Mills. Nice selection of fish and good prices. Have a big Jardini and discus display tanks.
3. Creatures & Critters - Store off Gordon BLVD in Woodbridge. Nice selection of fish. Have a HUGE silver arow display tank and also have a big RTC. I went there a couple days ago to look for a female retic. ray and was talking to one of the employees. When she told me retics aka teacups stay around 5-6 inches for life, I kindly told her she was wrong. She looked at me like I was
. Then I noticed they had two black arows listed as "BLUE AROWS" I told her they were actually called black arows and there's no such thing as a blue. Then she really was like this guy is
and apparently schooled me and said "they actually are blues and they come from Venezuela (w/ a know it all attitude)" My gf was w/ me and was laughing and told me all the hours I spend on MFK hasn't helped and I need to go do my research. I just laughed it off and left the store. If any of you locals go there and those black arows are still there, tell her there is no such thing as blues and see what type of response you get lol.
Anyways fellas, please post up all the lfs that you know of in the area. Thanks.
