nice catch. that walleye would need a massive tank. i've got 4 yellow perch at 4" about half the size of the bottom one. very entertaining fish

Yeah the walleye was 20"inches so the perch below it was about 14inches, this same lake that i caught these fish at, i net it in the spring summer fall, and get baby bluegills perch, lots of small mouths, pikcerel, one time a brook trout, a couple baby walleye, but yet i still cant get my hands on a baby carp out of here...

There are a few places that have had yellow perch illegally introduced in the east bay. If you catch a yellow perch, they want you to get rid of it.

Yellow perch are awesome because you dont have to heat your tank, i have 4 in a 56 gallon at 64f but one of the them got sick with ich so i had to raise it to take care of the parasite. they do well from 60-74 i believe

My yellow perch lives with tropicals in 78 degree water and has grown from 3" to 11" in 4yrs. He does very well with no signs of stress.
