Now what!?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A few more details please.

What size is the tank?

What fish are in the tank? How big are they?

How often do you change the tank water, and how much do you change?

How much do you feed and how often?

What foods do you feed?

Do you own a test kit? If so what is your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?

Have you added any new fish, plants, rocks or wood recently?

Did you clean/quarantine any new additions?

I'm not a vet so I can't help other than recommending more water changes (when in doubt, do a water change). But if you can answer all the questions I've asked people will be able to assist you easier. The more details you can give, the better the advice you'll get. :)

Good luck.

J jaws7777 T thefredpit ? Can you say anything?

I'm not sure if it's an injury or infection but I would quarantine if possible and treat with epsom salt I believe it is 1 tbs per 5 gallons but wait until someone confirms it isn't 1 tsp

Would use plain salt 1tsp per gallon and what rocksor has mentioned.

This looks like aggression to me. Can you seperate the injured sen and treat with clean water amd salt ?

What are the tankmates ?

Will do as much as i can though not sure that i can get epsom salt where i live. I do have uniodized sea salt from when i kept crabs. Would that work?

Her tank, ates are my ornate poly, another regular sen, the dirty plat sen that can be seen in the previous pic, a small pulchra , four discus , two uaru , a common pleco , a trachelyopterus fisheri and and small goonch. Howver none of them have the ability to do that( i think) . The pics arent to clear but the fleshy parts pf the fin are pale and look like they domt have blood running through them and the fin looks like it’s filled with blood. As far as i can see , there are no cuts.
