I have just called in a favor with a manager/friend of a leading marine coatings company.

I want to apply resin/glass to my new 300+ gal plywood build tank first, and then coat over the resin/glass with a final coat and color.

He has a coating material that is a solvent free epoxy used in potable water tanks (in large ships) and it is NSF certified. Would this material be OK in my tank in relation to NOT killing my fish??

I would say that you're good to go.
