Anyone have any hands on experience with this? In one of my tanks I have been fighting it back for about 9 months, every week I'll usually have to separate a fish or three, and always within a week or two they are dead (luckily it mostly attacks the livebearers, and they keep the numbers up just fine)

What I was wondering was if anyone had hands on experience with fish that just seemed immune to it. So far the only losses suffered have been livebearers and various tetras. The loaches, catfish (plecos and corries), bettas, and bala sharks seem unaffected. Wondering if they are considered "safe" from this or not.

I have been considering just culling the tank, as dealing with sick fish every day is just getting tiresome, but if it only effects certain fish, no need to kill all of them. The livebearers are easily replaced.
