Browsing a fish store today while taking my Son to soccer and came across 2 NGT for sale. Don’t see that very often here in British Columbia from what I gather so I snapped up the small one without hesitation-it’s settling in and it unstable as expected but since has made my Thinbar more active and stable and it is swimming continuously with my Silver Tiger now. Can’t see any sign of aggression from the NGT though

Good looking tank, what do you feed them?

Thanks for the compliment

At the moment Tilapia with foodsticks or pellets stuffed in them-got to make concerted effort to get them on the pellets now

Be patient with it! I found it pretty difficult to get my dat on pellets but it was such a relief when I finally did!

I know-I’ve done in the past I just haven’t got around to actually make an effort at the moment. The last NGT I had it took around four months to get it from feeding only frozen bloodworm to pellets

Nice find :) If you haven't already, try Hikari Sinking Carnivore, my little guy loves 'em.
Thanks-yes use these and Massivore. Since living here in Canada I have also been using North Fin-my large Polypterus actually prefer this over Massivore
