NTT common issues

It seems that when I read about NTTs on here, there is a lot of chatter about how they are harder to keep when compared to other dats. What makes them different than the other dats? I am asking because I just got two new NTT and they are both eating. Just want to prevent any pitfalls that everyone has already been through.

I haven't noticed a difference. They do seem to be a bit more sensitive to water quality though.

ntt seems to be more of a picky eater then others. I had 2 and lost one to starvation. :,(

In my experience they are prone to parasite and gill problems.

Not sure about your question but I would suggest prompt quarantine and parasite treatment for all NTT.
