I recently bought 6 NTT datnoids at 3-3.5 inch. I noticed on one of the datnoid on the body, by the tail that there is something hanging out of it. Looks like a blood worm with its head inside the skin of the fish and the rest hanging out. Please let me know what you think it is and the cure. THANKS

Could you pluck it out with tweezers? If it is pulling back, try applying potassium permanganate on that spot with a ball of cotton. I suspect this is fish leech. Trichlorfon or dimilin is your best bet here but trichlorfon in powder form is a bit tricky to dose and too concentrated which may be fatal to your fish.

i pulled it with some tweezers and it seem to has came off i'm not too sure if the head came out with it or not. the fish has been hiding so i'm not sure if it has been 100% removed.

Apply betadine on the wound. Have you obtained dimilin yet? If you see any more parasites, remove them immediately with tweezers and apply iodine solution on the wounds. Do not apply iodine solution near the eyes and gills.

CA, anchorworms usually have two ends shown and have an indent structure in the middle. Hmmm..This is tricky to describe. I'll get back to you later with some photos of the two pests.
