Ok, I've had these NTT's since when they were about quarter sized. They're about 4 months old. This morning when I woke up, I found one dead on the surface. Does anybody know what caused this? I see 1 side has a swollen gill, and the other side has none. I only feed Market Shrimp and live Blackworms.

Here is the picture 4 months ago when I got them.

Are these things contagious? I have mostly IT's in the tank.. Do I need to something into my tank before things happen? Please help, I can't afford to lose my IT's I have a quite a few of them.

May be got attacked by one of the other dats.
Tigers of similar size often fight. It's better to have a community of dats which all vary considerably size . Mine range from 3 inch to 11 inch

sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss:( I've noticed that when Perch die, their gills pop open.
