Last month I treated my 3 dats for gill flukes and or ich all made a full recovery and were swimming and eating good. I have had them for a year or two now, picked them up at 2inch and largest one is 6inch now. today the smallest one around 4/half'' is floating upside down towards top of tank. water peramiters are all the same and no signs of any physical problems. All other tankmates are eating and swimming fine including the 2 larger dats.I will toss him in a qt tank but does not look good. Makes me belive SDS because it was just eating fine yesterday. Ill get some pics up tomarrow. hopefully he pulls through and the others dont suffer the same fate.

Oh dear. That sound like it's gone to the point of no return.

U didn't mention if it was breathing heavily or not. If it is, put it in a net and hold it by the outlet for about 30 mins. Might kick some life into him, but if floating upside down then it's problem with swim bladder, in which case nothin muc u can do..
