last night, my 1.5" NTT died. i've only had it for less than a week.
all other dats in the tank are fine and he was fine except he was a little more thiner than the other dats. i noticed that it was breathing heavily and was showing vibrant colors before it died. i fed all of them last night with bits of MP. then i saw it regurgitate 3-4 pieces of bite sized shrimp before it gasped for its last breathe. did it over eat? the stomach was not bulging when this happened so it was not that full yet. ive seen the other NTTs and ATs bellies really full of food but they are fine.

what do you think happened?

it did not die from over eating i dont think. my 2" IT and all my big IT's have large bulges after they eat. They also never regurgitate their food. Im thinking an internal parasite maybe?

the entire tank is on quarantine right now. i started the quarantine process monday, i got all of them last sunday. i thought it would be better to do it for the entire tank. im thinking too that its a parasite problem that i caught a little too late. i hope the others make it tho.

can a datnoid be overfed????

I dont thinks so man, sorry for what happened but it was probably something else NTT are pretty delicate at that size could have been alot of things
