Thanks! You could keep a NTT in that tank for quite a few years as they are slow growers and are very stubborn when it comes to pellet training.Their griwth would be faster if you can get them onto pellets.
3"How big to start?
Good luck finding a thinbar that size.To begin with they are not as regularly sold as indos at any size and vendors only seem to bring in smaller ntt, well under six inches and whoever has big ones are holding on to them.Same bro thinking of getting one as well, but I want to get it when it’s big like 12” to start off
I just found out there’s a difference between thinbar and widebar datnoids ? thanks.Good luck finding a thinbar that size.To begin with they are not as regularly sold as indos at any size and vendors only seem to bring in smaller ntt, well under six inches and whoever has big ones are holding on to them.
Yes,the different names and initials of the dat species can be a bit confusing to the uninitiated. The North Thailand Tiger will almost always have three thin bars on both sides of its body while the Indonesian Tiger can have a wide range of bar or stripe patterns often having different shaped or numbered bars on each side.I just found out there’s a difference between thinbar and widebar datnoids ? thanks.
I thought it’s just either unclean/ clean, and 3 bar or 4 bars lol. Still don’t really know what’s the diff between IT and NTT.
Are they both equally rare to find above 12”Yes,the different names and initials of the dat species can be a bit confusing to the uninitiated. The North Thailand Tiger will almost always have three thin bars on both sides of its body while the Indonesian Tiger can have a wide range of bar or stripe patterns often having different shaped or numbered bars on each side.
