Nu-clear canister??

So i have 3 nu clear canisters and i want your thoughts on this... first canister with the 100 micron poly-screen cartridge, second canister with bio ball or scrubbies, the third the one in questions i was thinking of filling with pool filter sand....what are your thoughts on this?

Not too sure you can run sand in a nu-clear canister...why not run the 25 micron filter between the 100 and the scrubbies?
What pump are you running? How big of tank? what's the bio-load?

pump is a poseidon PS3 made by Baysid, 143 gal 72"X21"X23" (LXWXH). Cross river and 3 3" clown loaches.

Nice....I'm assuming you're looking for more bio with the sand?

Yeah that's what i thought, but on all the nu clear web sites it suggests doing the bio balls after the 100 micron filter...

Not to sure on that one (the FBF)...Maybe add another Bio like the previous one, that would double the bio filtration...
Are you getting Ammonia and NitrItes in you parameter testing?
