Steroids...

You have to realize that devils don't the nuchal humps that others in the Midas family do. The hump he has may be all he is genetically set up for.

-1 on the roids lol(I know u were joking). But +1 on the rest. When they are about to spawn their nuchal humps get bigger, but as stated before some don't have the genetics for big humps.

I added a mirror will that do anything he has bread 3 time and his hum stayed the same size his hump was giant then I removed him from the community due to him being agressive

Ok since you say he has had one before, he obviously has the genes. All I can say is put him within an environment where he is most dominate and it will grow back. The mirror may help or it may not. What I have noticed is when midas/devil are within environments where they are squaring off with other fish daily, their hump stays a nice size(granted they have the gene to have a big hump). Its almost like the more aggitated they get... The bigger the hump is. As long as they can stay the dominant one and not get too stressed. Quick question for those who might question what I have said... Has anybody ever seen a very passive/lazy midevil with a "big" hump?
