Nurse Shark

Went down to the LFS today and someone has brought in a Nurse Shark about 2ft long. It has one small wound from transporting it, but it's already starting to heal. It's been in an aquarium it's whole life and the person that brought it in cause it outgrew his tank.

I thought I'd post it on here cause I know there's guys on here with monster shark tanks. He wants $150 for it and it's located in Panama City FL.

The only problem is often times it's hard to find a home for Nurse Sharks. And most people that buy them - fail to realize that these sharks will someday become 9-10' Monsters.

What would you need 40x40x3. I saw a couple nurse sharks at the NY state fair. They were about 5 feet long in a 16' x 4' x 4' trailer aquarium. A guy got in there and swam with them every hour. There were also two white tips about 3' in the same tank.

I had one in a 225 until it got to be 30" long then it went to live at my friend's nightclub in the 100000 gallon tank.

The only problem is that you cannot put tank fish back into public waterways. Something about pathogens and what-not.

It's illegal to release a captive fish into any public waterway.
