Went down to the LFS today and someone has brought in a Nurse Shark about 2ft long. It has one small wound from transporting it, but it's already starting to heal. It's been in an aquarium it's whole life and the person that brought it in cause it outgrew his tank.

I thought I'd post it on here cause I know there's guys on here with monster shark tanks. He wants $150 for it and it's located in Panama City FL.

If anybody is really interested let me know and I'll give you his phone number.

I am in PCB for 2 weeks for a class at FSU. I have been wanting to hit some good local shops since I am here. Can you suggest some? or pm me, if you need to.

Sparker18 - Thanks for the post, helping find the Shark a new home is a good thing to do. If you wouldn't mind posting on the website in my signature I am sure I can help you find a good home for the Shark. If you would rather not, let me know and I will do it.

So you couldn't fit it in a 10 gallon. JK.

What would you need 40x40x3. I saw a couple nurse sharks at the NY state fair. They were about 5 feet long in a 16' x 4' x 4' trailer aquarium. A guy got in there and swam with them every hour. There were also two white tips about 3' in the same tank.

I wonder if you could release the shark back into the wild there.

It's illegal to release a captive fish into any public waterway.
