Padilla bay has a neat little work shop for kids to come explore and learn about the importance of Puget Sound.

they just got a new tank..forgot the gallons and are working on a second arch way, its a tiny little place with no admission, if any one is ever up in the NW of Washington i recommend this cute little place.

here are some pics of the tank set ups and there inhabitants, the guy who runs the tanks opened them up for me the the cylinder ones are all self contained it was neat, the large tank runs off of a 500 gallon sump and a 300 gallon sump, as well as a HUGE cooling system to keep the tanks at about 60o.

ENJOY!

the tank in the first pic is also a tide tank, going up and down with the tide.

yeah you dont see to many cold salt tanks..

I've been there!!!!!! When I was camping with my grandpa! It was a cool little place. but now I need to go back there and see this new tank!
I thought that Puget sound was boring until I went to the Seattle aquarium for the first time in 4 years and went to a peir peer with People for Puget Sound, and after doing my 8th grade project on Puget Sound.
Lots of neet stuff!

Is the fish in the 2nd post a saddle back gunnel, i kept some of those for about a year. very interesting fish

Those are amazing. Makes my shore crab tank look like a joke.
