NYC poly pricing info

Ok there was a debate (not argument) on pricing of some poly's in nyc so here goes.

Ok now here goes the first spot only had a lap left and it was 60 bucks(this is 38th street prices are high here cause its next to timesquare). There was only a worker in so he couldnt tell me about pricing.

Second spot is the pricing pictures u see above. They didnt have any ansorgii,endi,or bichir bichir left. infact he says he has never had a bichir bichir. I gave him the names of those and moke, he said he will call me with pricing info. I couldnt get any pricing pictures of ansorgii or endi because he didnt have any left we will have to wait till next week he only had one palmas and it i was a baby about 3 inch. he had ornates that looked like they had the body shape of my lap with ornate colors there heads where really long. And i notice albinos always sells for less here weird. The guy says he has a hard time selling them and he doesnt order to many.

This spot had the big guy u see last he was sold already for 120$ so i do admit they are higher then 60$ when they are 12 or more. This guy was huge maybe 13" long and 3-4 inches thick biggest one i have seen in person besides taintedgolry's polys.

I will update the pricing next week to show u guys. I didnt start this thread to argue just to inform and to give Hao and Idea of what i am talking about.

Was in quarantine in the back it will be mine next week if everything goes well. He said the others sold before he could get them in the tanks. I got u hao. I am trying to set up a deal with this person so i can get an ansorgii,moke,bichir bichir, and a bigger palmas then the one he has cause its only 3". If the prices look good and the polys are top notch then i will be selling these myself as a side job

And the Albino polli palmas looks like an albino Senegalus to me...

And all these look average quality, and kept on dangerous gravel!!!
I would give this a miss if I were you.

Ya i told him i want a profile like he does his flowernhorns of the polys i want with pictures and all before i get them. I am looking for a deal but i dont want anything that is not gonna be at its full potental as far as colors,growth,and health. Anymore help and info would be appreciated. No disrespect to toyin but i just cant afford those prices so i am shopping around and trying to get these pet stores to get more differnt kinds of polys and when they do not to just get 1 or 2. I think this guy will learn that if he does get them people will buy them.

Well good luck with that.

The only thing you have to remember is sellers like Toyin have those prices for a reason. They are high quality, not junk that you find in most LFS.

How can u tell high and low quality. I only paid 30 bucks for my ornate but he looks just as good if not better than any other ornate i seen. My Del looks good also even tho it is cb. My lap i suspect is low quality because he lost he left eye not soon after i got him, and conformation on this is, at every other petstore i have seen a lap there left eye is either white cloudy,red with blood or missing, and this is from more than 2 store i have seen this. Any info on how to tell quality would be a great help. I know in dels that the stripes are more washed out than in wc ones but other than that i cannot tell. My ornate has a nice tan bottom but the cb one i seen yesterday had pattern on the bottom of them and there heads look more flat and long like a lap.
