a friend of mine used to work for the local airport and his job was to drive a 4-wheeler around the tarmac and shoot all the large birds anything as large as a seagull, duck, geese, no eagles tho. man what a fun job.......does gassing them ruin the meat??? u wouldn't want to eat them if they were poisoned. and to the member who said wasteful americans.........look at the chinese!!! they are destroying the earth w/ their polution that is 10x that of america.......they have no EPA standards, no emission standards.......nothing, they and they rest of the 3rd world countries waste alot of stuff.........they don't have recyling centers in the number we do.......they don't "GO GREEN" anyway it is sad they have to whak all those geese but i mean they are just gonna get stuck in a airplane engine and cause a couple hundred HUMAN deaths.......so think about it.....do you want your relative/friends plane goin down over the atlantic? or do you want some TURGOOSIN???
I do agree on killing the birds but at least they should give the meat to other people who really need it like people in Africa or whatever.
BTW, the Chinese don't have Environment Standard cause they don't want to waste money and their resources on thing that will do the earth good.
