I've always heard that these guys are pretty aggressive but they are also extremely impressive. A LFS has them in stock. First time I have ever seen them in person. I know they don't get very big. So, would a single male bully larger peacocks and haps?

naw...i have 1, just 1, in with my firemouths and servums. the peacock leaves the other fish alone.....lots of hiding places.

Seeing as they are Vic's I have heard of it working well. However, I have heard horror stories of Vics with peacocks. I guess you could give it a try. I predict that it will harass the peacocks.
Same here, I have 1.5 inch ruby greens who bully 3 in. + red shoulder peacock males. Imagine what a nyererei can do. It depends how big your haps and peacocks are and how big is the nyererei?
I currently have a couple Tetracephalus who pretty much just harass each other. They can get pretty mean.
Most of my stuff has crossed the 2 inch mark and getting close to 3. The Nyererei would be about 1.5"
Maybe I need to wait and let these guys grow out some more before making that plunge...

I wouldn't advise it. I think you would be looking for trouble. I had a 2" Female Ruby put an entire tank of 4"+ Mbuna in check.

well, they are coming about a lot more as of late. Give it a few weeks and I am sure you will find some. OR post around and see if someone can send you some. I have seen them a lot.
