This guy has been in my scud tank for a while. I believe it’s a damsel fly nymph, curious to see what you all think?
There appears to be a smaller one next to it.
Kinda want to see what it becomes, will it eat my scuds?

Looks to be a few at varying ages/sizes.

Well, don’t want to chance that then…off to the puffers they go.

I agree, damselfly nymph but either are just as dangerous.
I noticed beanii fry in a grow out tank disappearing rather quickly, and found this.


It was very hard to see among the plants

needless to say, it was fed to adult cichlids.

I did notice my scud population going down…glad to see I got the likely culprit. I found 3-4, hopefully that was it. And hopefully the tetras and puffers finished them fast…

I believe mine came in as eggs on plants grown outside in my ponds, impossible to see.

The farm I got mine from most likely had them swimming around. I also got a neocardina shrimp and mosquitofish.
