I got a 175 sitting empty in the garage. I'm setting it up as soon as I can get the 150 sold. I've never kept SA/CA cichlids long enough to know their behavior. My wife has always wanted a Blood Parrot and Oscars but also wants a Clown Knife. I just want a senegal poly. Could all these get along in a 175. Dems are 72"Lx20"Wx28"T. I'll have sand and a few XXL pieces of driftwood. Also, my wife wants big pretty fish. She likes the Green Terror and Red Terrors. Could we have those too? I'm looking for suggestions for big pretty fish and large oddballs.
 
I would get your poly and oscar. The CK will outgrow your tank, and a blood parrot or festae (red terror) might be too rough for your oscar. GT should be alright, and in place of the blood parrot you could try a gold severum.
 
The knife can go to the zoo when it outgrows the tank. If they dont want it, i know someone with a 300 with other knives
 
Blood parrot will workout fine, you could get a trio of polys, a couple oscars, some silver dollars, and maybe a large Green Terror as a centre piece?
