Alright here is what I am doing. Whether out of boredom or just the fact that I think piranha need to get more attention around here. The organization will be called O.P.P. (Our Peoples Piranha). Obviously a play on one of the best Rap songs ever. Hopefully if nothing else, this will bring people out of the woodwork who keep piranha or who are interested in piranha and are members of the site, to get more active, post pictures and knowledge of them.

There are members and vendors on this site that have a lot of experience with these amazing fish and should educate everyone else and help grow the hobby.

I know these groups/threads sometimes lead to "hating" but hopefully this is casual and non-competitive and of course a fun learning tool.

After about 5 years of keeping many different types of fish, I currently own one Gold Diamond Rhom about 5" and have plans to collect many other species and varients in the near upcoming days, weeks and months.

Please join and lets get the pictures, and experiences flowing . . .

I'm second to that and here I am whoring out pics of my rhom, lol
first two are my black diamond in a 75g. the last three are my blue diamond in a 180g. last two pix were taken with ISO setting at 3200 so there's not much color on the fish.

what kind of physical characteristics have you noticed in comparison to your black diamond and blue diamond. does the blue diamond has any blue tinting as of yet? is the spotting much different?

I really love that 4th pic, great shot of its nice body structure

Thanks.
I didn't use flash light on the pics for the blue but he does have some blue tint if angle is right. see my new attachments, these are with flash light. the black diamond is really dark which makes the spot hard to see, unlike the blue diamond. but the black is about 0.5" larger so maybe things will change with time.
The black also have different color when he was in the same 180g before I got the blue, see the 3rd and 4th pics. he had these two tone like color which was very unique but not any more since the new 75g he's in has black background and really black gravel.

Not gonna lie my friend I love the idea you have but I'm still not sure exactly what your ultimate goal is. From what I gather your trying to stir up some interest in piranha and I'm for that. Piranha are my favorite fish and just thought I'd show some support by putting up some pictures of my guys. I have five reds all about the 7" mark.

This is when I first got them at 1 inch.

Here they are eating at 2 inches.

A couple pictures of them at about 5 to 6 inches.

One I just took for the thread. All of the shots are cell phone so sorry for the quality.

well you get the idea, just trying to stir things up because there aren't much activities going on in the piranha forum here. thanks for posting your pics. we need more piranha lovers to join us~!!
