Fill it with plants, plastic or live, dpending on how "expert" you are in growing plants.........Get a dozen mini puffers......They grow no more than an 3/4 of an inch........They swim to your finger.......You can easily train these guys to eat out of your hand.........They look like cute and cudly balloons.........As for plant choices, get long-wavy plants.........And at the top, float a giant bushy vine type of plant..........Remember, fake or real, it really looks good......

The reason I say get more is if you are getting exodons more is always best. while 8 is a okay number to start with the more you get the more it spreads out the aggression, these guys are the ultimate mini monsters!
If it were me I would be shooting for 15-20 as minimum

or maybe a Loach pack? You could put like 6 or 7 Yoyo Loaches, Striata Loaches, Kubotai Loaches, or Dario Loaches in it, or two of each.
Or an asst predator tank. Example
1x Nandus nandus, 1x Leopard Ctenopoma, 1x African Butterflyfish, 1x Peacock Eel
Or a gigantic Exodon swarm... like 30 or so, if you can afford it plus the filtration.
