I just looked over at my room mate's tank. his 3" O has the tail of a 1.5" Pleco sticking out of his mouth. I'm trying to get pics, will post if any come out okay.

Here are the pics. The poor thing just has his mouth wide open, gills flared, and is rubbing the tale against the glass and decor.

as much as i love them, oscars are stupidly greedy. id try get it out somehow, cant be good for either fish.
he managed to spit it out! I found the carcas, and the pectoral fins are still completely intact. it looks like the dorsal spine might still be stuck in the O's throat, but its hard to tell.
The O still kind of looks distressed, but I think he'll be okay. even if the dorsal spine is stuck in his throat, he should be able to cough that up. hopefully, he doesn't get an infection. my roommate uses salt, so he should be okay.

I know. there's another, smaller pleco in ther with him. its my roommates, so I'm not gonna seperate them (even though I have a 20 gallon growout that would be perfect for him). my roommate would just accuse me of stealing his fish.
there's a good reason not to feed you fish live feeders.
