oak/black tank trim

Whick tank trim/stand combo do you prefer? Black tank trim on a black stand or oak trim & oak stand?

I like oak. The best set-ups are where the stand and the canopy are made of solid wood and extend enough to cover whichever trim you have.

I prefer the black tank / black stand because it will always match the room where ever I place the tank.

I like that look, too. If not, I prefer black trim aquariums and a nice wooden stand. I am not a fan of the iron stands and one solid color press board stands found at the LFS.

Iron stands are ugly if they are the commercial ones. If you are good at metalworking I am pretty sure you could turn out some awesome designs.
