Oak or black acquarium?

I dont know whether to go with an oak or traditional black acquarium. Will the oak show a better contrast with the fish and decorations? Is it better then black? Thanks

Is there a specific reason. Im asking cuz im going to be ordering a tank and the distributor only has the oak but they can get the black but it will take a couple weeks. I was thinking black to.

if u have to get oak, sand it and restain ebony or paint it black... I did that but stained really dark red mahogany

One is not better that the other. But I prefer the oak.

I would go black all of the way. It draws more attention to the fish and black contrasts really well with the inside of the aquarium. Oak tends to make the aquarium look more like furniture than an aquarium.
