Been wanting to ask this question for awhile. Last month I bought a bunch of peacocks, one of them being an OB. This OB however has the mouth shape of a blood parrot and upon looking at the other ones in the stores and online all the other ones have a normal shaped mouth like the other peacocks. Anyone else have an OB or any peacock like this?

I know what your talking about. My dad has a eureka red peacock and it seems like its upper lip protrudes. I used to think Haplochromis cichlids had that but I was wrong. I also saw a tank full of africans with the same thing. Very odd.

Usually a deforminty like that happens when the mother is stressed when the fry are being stripped and she tries to pick them up again and she mangles them in the process i had this happen a few times while stripping fry and ended up with a few deformers... But i don't sell them thats just wrong!!
