Is it common for peacocks and zebras to hold eggs even when they aren't fertilized? It seems my ob zebra female is holding. But the only 2 other fish are female...

Unless my one ob peacock is actually male.

i have had my bumble bee release eggs high into the water column and then eat them but not hold them. Just my opinion, but if she holds for more than a few days i would strip them so she dont starve herself for nothing.
