Ok, Here's the story, I had three albino tiger barbs together in their own tank but one was picked on mercilessly and fins were nipped to nothing and was on it's way out. So rather than let them turn it into a floating nub I moved him to my peaceful community tank. Fins grew back beautifully. Never bothered anyone in the tank but it not only thrived, it is the biggest fattest barb I've ever seen. Wish I could post a picture, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with her. She's been this way all winter and eats like a wild boar. Looking at her she is the size and shape of a silver dollar, almost perfectly round and just shy of a half inch wide. She swims fine and I call her tugboat. I know they prefer a school but she's in with tetras and if she's stressed you'd never know it, no panting no shaking, swims along without a care in the world. Do I have a weirdo fish or what? Has anyone had experience with this? Maybe it post traumatic stress syndrome.
