Well, I had one of my cichlasoma oblongus pass away yesterday. I placed my group of 4 into my 75 gallon and I noticed my male becoming dominant almost immediately. They were fine of course in the bigger tank. Well, they seemed fine one sec, then the next, I noticed this little dude bleeding from his lower body right behind his pelvic fins. There was also a hint of something hanging out sooooooo I divided the little guy, but sadly, he didn't make it.
Now, the other three are acting quite strange. Whenever they swim very closely to one another, one of them will turn its body completely putting itself in a very vulnerable stage showing its stomach to the other fish
