Large armoires catfish as tank mates
: armoired cats seem to do well with piranhas likely because they don't attract attention and they can be to much work to eat. Raphael, plecos , Bacu, and Niger ripsaws should work.

Ignore spelling here as autocorrect has gone rogue. Koi may seem like an odd choice for piranha tanks but I have seen it done several times. Choose koi of about 20 inches or so, don't do this with young piranha as they are at the finshredding stage.
Wimple piranhas and silver dollars have been kept suceesfully in larger tanks but may get eaten however these fish school together in the wild along with piranhas and young pacu
Pacu pacu of 14 or more have been kept with piranhas but I can imagine a 20 inch fish spooking piranhas
Crayfish are often ignored by piranhas,for reasons they have never told mee lol they will eat leftover foodbits but may eat plants my largest cray had trouble distingousing live for plastic plants so he just tore up both.
Sunfish sometimes get along with ps and r easy to get in many areas however they may get eaten and green sunfish should be stocked at small sizes in groups of 8 or more be sure to provide many caves or they may consider the whole tank and not just the caves their territory failure to follow above instructions may result in fights with piranhas
Piranhas shouldnt have any tankmates period.....they will kill them eventually.

As I said all tank mates can be risky but people who say fish like yellow belly piranhas and such can't have tank mates are doing it wrong
