Picked up a OC 319 and so far seems to be working out great. Using it as a polisher, filled the core with purigen instead of AC.

I have it inline after the W/D sump. Installed shut off valves to the OC if for cleaning and have a bypass valve that will pump the water back into the tank. :D

Very nice, notice a water clarity improvment?

Yep. A lot clearer now. :D

according to specs of the OC filters..this can handle up to 500G. Worse case scenario you can hook a multiple OC filters of different usage together.

I have a 315 ill be setting up the same way might add a second one for chemipure in the future

Ocean Clear filters are great! All you need a good pressure rated pump to get the most out of them. I have a couple of the 354 polybead models on different tanks. They actually do a better job than my tanks with wet-drys. I've been thinking of adding a 319 after my 354 inline on a 125gal. tank that's overstocked, for water polishing purposes. Good to hear yours is doing the job.

Yeah, these filters are great. Wish I had bought it sooner.
Definitely need a bigger pump tho. I'm currently using a Quiet One 4000, although I'll probably pick up the 4000HH soon.

I was going to get the 354 but figured I'd just use the 319 as a polisher and extra bb area. I will get the 354 when I get another tank (210g or bigger..still debating now) and another 319 in addition to a W/D. I figure you can never have enough filtration! :grinno: :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:
