Does any one have any expiereince with the ocean clear canister filters. I was thinking about hooking one up but i have no clue what it takes and i cant find any info on them. I have a quiet one 6000 just sitting around and i figured why not give it a try. Any feed back would be good seeing how i dont know anything. Thanks

I've got two ocean clear filters on my 225 right now. I love'm. Mine are set up after the pumps to provide mechanical/ chemical filtration, and are also plumbed to act as a CO2 reactors. Their screw top lid along with the bottom drain makes servicing them really easy. They have so much internal surface area for filtering that I only have to service them twice a rear at most. I recommend them highly.
