I was using it for carbon, but i need to slide my wet-dry over and its in the way. so i figured why its off why not sell it, instead of letting it collect dust.

sure it could , any filter can, nice thing about the ocean clears is YOU put whatever you want on the inside, you can also make it a presser filter by installing the pump in the intake side or the return side. you can fill it with bio rings, floss filter pads, whatever you want.
