Oceanic Canopy Hinge Help Needed

I have an Oceanic 55 and broke one of my glass canopies. I went to the glass shop and had the glass cut, but Oceanics hinges arent very flexible. The AGA versatop hinge is very flexible but its such a tight fit to get the glass in. The glass is 3/16" and the AGA hinge I have is for 3/16" glass. I cant slip the glass in easily into the AGA hinge, but it goes in nice in the Oceanic Hinge. Any ideas?

post a pict, you could get a piece of 220 grit sand paper and work at the edges untill it fits, the glue it in place

I always have to lube mine up when I get new ones. usually water does the choice.

crisco its all natural in case the oil heats up and drips into the water.

glass drill make the holes bigger

Maybe placing the desired hinge in very hot water for a while to make it expand to fit?

All great ideas...I used PAM cooking spray and got them in.
