Oceanic Sunfish

Taken when we visited Hirtshals Aquarium in North Jylland in Denmark. They had 3 in a massive aquarium-told it is the largest single aquarium in North europe. All the exhibits are native saltwater species

in the second pic, the one on the left is healthy, though its fins look a bit short, and the one on the right is definitely deformed.
 
From what I recall they weren't deformed. Their dorsal fins move side to side all the time-the picture angle makes them look short. They are very strange looking fish-I remember years ago as a kid seeing one off the rocks in North Devon, England
 
The head shape does seem odd. I am not sure deformed is the word I would use, almost like a motorboat strike that is healed?

Maybe its old? Some fish this happens to am i correct? Could i be sex difference?
