Hey guys i just picked up a 100 gallon for 110 bucks with a 3 boxes filled with endless heaters and pumps :naughty:

But have a issue with the tank.. the glass is just as thick as my 220 which is impressive but the bead of silicone is a bit weanie.. Because of this i did a quick search and i found many threads of oceanic tanks leaking due to silicone failure at the steams. Should I reseal it or is it not a problem at all? Has anyone had any issues with oceanic tanks?

Thanks in advance.

Hello. I own a 160 gallon Oceanic tank. This tank was purchased new by me in 1987 and has had fish inside it since then. It is a very well made, solid tank, the silicone is still in excellent condition and I have had no problems. I am very glad I purchased it.

Thank you for your response! I noticed the wood trim rather than plastic trim and the quality is surely there. Ill just clean it out and fill it up then thanks!
