So I went to get one and asked the guy if he knew what kind of Pbass they were getting in and he responded, "the kind you see in all the books". WTF does that mean. I finally asked him to look in the book to get me the name of it. Now I am hoping that he was trying to "dumb down" his answer his because he didnt know that I knew what I was talkin about and not that he didnt know what he was talkin about. So my question is would $15 be a fair price for 3" cichla ocellaris?

yeah thats a good price, i paid $9.99 a piece for mine and they were barley over an inch

Depends on the area but usually the ones offered are Monoculus and not ocelaris

$ 15 seems like fair.

I've seen them being offered for $ 19.99 at 1.5 to 2" plus shiiping charges.

agree with trust most occelaris are just monos, especially on the west coast
