Octopus Compatibility

What would octopus be compatible with? Ive seen some people on youtube who said that they have had them with a banded bomboo shark, but im not sure if this usually works. Would it be ok with a naso tang? A niger triggerfish? A grouper? A snowflake eel? Coral Cat Shark? It would be in a 125 either 6x2 or 5x2.5. What are some good websites that sell octopus and usually have them in stock?:confused::confused::confused:
 
I wouldn't chance it with anything. They can kill larger prey then themselves in the wild and if the animal is too big it might kill the octopus. Best to keep it as a species from what I know
 
If the trigger was about 3 inches, the grouper 4.5", the tang 4.5" and the eel around 8, would that work and would they be able to grow with eachother?
 
Triggers have the teeth to do damage even at a small size.It is either kill or be killed with most tankmates for an octopus.I've had one kill a small epaulette shark.
 
As others have recommended, keep it alone.
 
If you absolutely must have a tankmate a larger SW angel or tang might work if you only have the 1 tankmate and plenty of hiding spots, but I would never chance it. best keep it alone. Also how big an octopus do you want?
