So I have a group of 3 piranhas in my tank, and 1 of them has been acting kinda strange or maybe im just paranody. But one of them will sometimes swim up to the top left corner beside my heater and the filter system and kinda just sit there and stick around it.

Maybe he just likes the current of the filter system or maybe the heater? my temperature is at 27-28 Celcius. Anyone have any thoughts on it??

how much cover is in the tank? most piranhas like something to hide behind so if theres nothing to hide behind sometimes they try to hide behind the heater(or filter intake)

he may also enjoy being in the current of the filter

theres a nice big string plant, similar to an anemone. 2 larges that have 2 pieces of drift wood resting on them, and small bushes stuck in the sand sticking up in a small corner.

when i go look at him he'll sometimes swim away and act normal, its just weird cause he only started treading there about 3 days ago.

ok then id assume he jsut likes the extra oxygen or flow in the filter area

its nothing to worry about regardless as long as hes not "gasping" at the surface
