Well... They came in at around 2" looking kinda normal. Just a lil more spacing between the spots than other L114s. After a while, noticed that they were short/snub nosed. Was changing out the driftwoods in my tanks, and decided to take inventory of my plecos (will post another thread) and realized that they were just a lil more odd"BALL" than just short/snub nosed.

picture's worth 1000 words.

First one.

Thanks guys!

is this some kind of short body?

That's what crossed my mind, snub-nosed, or short body L114. I've seen them before, but nothing this round. They are the smallest guys in the tank, I am pretty sure they are not eating any better than their 4~6" tankmates. So seems like they rather grow in diameter than length. Can't wait to see how they will grow!

They kind of remind me of bullnose L46 that happen with captive breed. Are these WC? A smaller chubby L114 could be interesting.
