odd behavior

have a angel that has odd!! behavior. it hangs at the top of the tank

in the corner? eats fine will cruise the tank fine then back to the corner

Is he hanging out by the heater, or maybe away from the heater? My pregnant mollies always huddle up to the heater even when I raise the temp, so maybe he has different temp preferences. Or maybe he just feels safer; does he have a place to hide other than the corner?

I have a paradise gourami that does the same thing. I've had it for 5-6 months and it always hides behind the heater in the corner. If its not there its hiding among the plants, probably hunting ghost shrimp.
