Are my fish retarded?
My gator is over 9" now, and the larger florida is slowly creeping past 8", so I moved them to the 90. They didn't like the process one bit, and fought me the whole way. I thought it would be nice to move my smaller floridas to the 30, and it was like netting sticks.
Before and after the move, they just sort of chill out at the bottom of the tank and hide. They'll get up and swim every once and a while, and they swim fine. No signs of back injury or fin damage.
In contrast, my larger pair are always swimming around near the top. The gator hasn't touched the bottom of the tank in weeks.
Which pair is exhibiting normal behavior, and which are the strange ones?
