Odd Behaviour

i just recently acquired a bgk from my local petsmart and he's been swimming back and forth and back and forth the entire time I've had him. Is this normal behaviour or is something wrong with him?

yup he's got his own place, theres plenty of all hiding place for all my little guys but he even does it inside his cave

its a 29 gallon tank and there aren't any other electric fish just some baby bichirs a ropefish my bush fish, and my danio's (getting a new tank today soooo happy)

What are your water parameters? If they are fine, then then its normal.

Just let him get use to the tank. Then he will settle in

Mine did that when smaller and new to the tank. Now he swims when he wants and lays on his side in his hiding spot.
