odd clown loaches

Hey all. Me working at petsmart I see my fair share of odd clown loaches. I was wondering if they are worth anything extra? Now I see the puzzle peice ones all the time, but right now we have one that instead of the second stripe it has a spot, and a couple weeks ago we had one with four stripes. So, anything extra, or just a unique wrinkle in a collection?

I don't believe they're usually sold for more than regular ones, but I have a feeling some people would probably be willing to pay more. I personally love the odd patterns - if I were you I'd be scouring the tanks and setting up my own little odd clown loach colony.

I used to have a bunch, mostly odd ones, but then my pbass decided they were food

i have seen them sold for one, alot of people like to collect them

I have been trying to find any I can around here and haven't had much luck. I have found a few broken bars and saddle backs, but nothing worth buying. I wish I had more spotted ones, I think that I have 2 right now.

yeah, working at an lfs has its perks...I get to cherry pick all the oddball fish. I dont see the oddball clown loaches all that often, but when I do I usually end up with them. I dont think I've ever seen spoted ones, though.
