Male firecon and female synspilum. I bought a pair of synspilum from Rapps and was growing them out in a 55gal with a couple of firecons. The female wants nothing to do with the male synspilum but fell in love with this male firecon. They do have eggs on the bottom of the tank behind the flowerpot. I was going to clean out the tank this evening when I noticed the eggs. They look to be good but I will keep an eye on them. Here are few pics. Kinda hard to get them to come out from behind the pot though. Sorry about the dirty glass but it was cleaning day today. Oh yeah female is about 5"-6" and the male is a little smaller. Kinda hard to tell from the pics.
